“It was such a great workshop on Saturday, you both have such a talent and working in education myself I feel your business is very unique in that it combines the perfect balance of learning and fun through wonderful themes.”

Myself (Yvonne) and my assistant Abbie. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and Abbie is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We both bring a wealth of experience and are passionate about learning through play. Find out more about us here.
No, not really. Our sessions are more structured and each one is themed. We begin each lesson with a story, so our children can easily interact but we guide them and give them the freedom to choose. Our activities are very well thought out and cover a range of skills and interests.
Our play sessions are £9 per session and no, you don’t have to sign up for a course. You can pick and choose the classes you’d like to book and attend.
We run story and play sessions at Streetly Village Methodist Church and WM Wheats in Aldridge. We also do events at other locations, such as Moor Hall Hotel, and we can visit schools. We also offer birthday parties too.
Yes, all of our classes are outdoors so we recommend your children dress appropriately for the weather (including sunscreen in the summer!). In winter months, an element of the class may be indoors to share the story and do crafts, but it is important to us that some of the class is still outdoors to tie in with our ethos. Health & safety is, of course always a priority, and in extreme weather situations, we would make a decision to either cancel or bring the class indoors.
Our Play Sessions are for children aged 3- 7 or those working at ages 3-7.
There are lots of aims that we are working towards. We want our children to be able to share stories, sequence stories and experience sensory and imaginative play and crafts. We also want them to have fun, run around, enjoy nature and inspire their imaginations.
As you will know, every child is different. We do have lots of SEN children who access and engage very positively with our play classes. Safety is of course a priority so it is important that we get to know all about your child. If you have a child with additional needs please contact us here and we will do all we can to help them access our sessions. We’d love to have them with us.
They like that our classes are different from others and have a range of structured activities that engage their children. They also like their children to be outside and appreciate that the resources are unique and tailored to help children share stories. They love our enthusiasm too!
The classes are for one hour and you are welcome to bring younger siblings too.
If you have a question, drop us a message below, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
